What will your new kitchen cost?

Buying a new kitchen is like buying a new car. You’ll need to have a rough budget in mind and have thought a bit about how it should fit your lifestyle needs. So it’s important to indicate the amount you want to spend when you meet with us. As a general guide, you should look to invest about 5-8% of the value of your home.

Do remember that prices will depend on the size of the kitchen, cabinetry selection, choice of materials for benchtops and cupboard doors, accessories such as sinks, taps, rangehood and ovens, cook tops, dishwashers and refrigerators. Our designers are there to help you through the process and can explain the advantages and costs of various looks and finishes.

You are also likely to need several trades people to complete the kitchen – an installer, plumber, electrician and possibly a gas fitter. You may also need a tiler, decorator and flooring contractor and a builder if structural work is needed. But don’t worry – we can talk you through the entire building project and make sure you have the right trades people available to complete the job.

We’ve selected some examples to give you an idea of cost. But do remember every kitchen is unique and the examples here are purely to give you a guideline. We’ll work with you to maximise your budget and advise you every step of the way.
